China most rare earth prices firm, cerium, neodymium down

China’s price ranges for cerium oxide along with neodymium oxide fell this specific week from yesterday, despite tough settings over mining task.

Prices for nearly all rare earths always been steady in Tiongkok, the world’s principal producer and exporter.

Li Zhong, vice-general boss of top company Baotou Steel Rare-Earth Hi-Tech Possessing, said this week that this country’s role because dominant global supplier of exceptional earths would gradually visit an end because industry focused more for the domestic market.

Rare earths are a gaggle of 17 metals used in an array of new technologies from a mix of both cars and wind generators to catalytic converters, everlasting magnets and battery pack cells.

Following is a table of major rare earth prices in China as of Sept 16.
